Under the generous patronage of Professor Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University, and Professor Hany Hamed Desouky, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, and under the supervision of Professor Manal Anwar, Director of the Infection Control Unit, Faculty of Medicine, Beni Suef University, the Infection Control Unit organized a Scientific Day on Infection Prevention and Control as part of the ongoing activities of Beni Suef University Hospitals aimed at promoting infection control practices and celebrating World Hand Hygiene Day.
The scientific event highlighted the importance of hand hygiene and presented advanced disinfection methods used across various hospital departments, intensive care units, and operating theaters. The program emphasized the vital role of infection prevention measures in ensuring patient safety and enhancing the quality of healthcare services.
During the event, the team led by Professor Manal Anwar honored Professor Hany Hamed Desouky in recognition of his continuous and effective support for the success of the infection control system and his commitment to implementing patient safety standards throughout Beni Suef University Hospitals.
