On the Occasion of World Malaria Day

Activities of a Workshop Organized by the Department of Medical Parasitology on the Occasion of World Malaria Day and Honoring Outstanding Participants
Under the patronage of Dr. Hany Hamed Desouky, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, and in the presence of Dr. Samraa Hussein, Vice Dean for Student Affairs, and Dr. Hala El-Askary, Head of the Department of Medical Parasitology, the Department of Medical Parasitology and the Parasitic Diseases Diagnosis and Research Unit at the Faculty of Medicine, Beni Suef University, organized a workshop in celebration of World Malaria Day.
The event was attended by distinguished faculty members, including Prof .Dr. Mohamed Afifi, Prof .Dr. Marwa Ghaith, Prof .Dr. Wegdan Mohamed, in addition to members of the academic staff of the department.
As part of the workshop activities, the Dean of the Faculty honored the participating students in recognition of their active involvement. Special recognition was also awarded to:
• Dr. Eman Farouk, Lecturer in the Department of Medical Parasitology
• Dr. Sara Abdelhamid, Lecturer in the Department of Medical Parasitology
in appreciation of their outstanding efforts in organizing and coordinating the event. A number of high-achieving students were also honored for their academic excellence.
