Inspection Tour by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine to Follow Up on Renovation Works in the Chest Diseases and Surgery Departments

Professor Hany Hamed Desouky, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, conducted an extensive inspection tour throughout the University Hospital. He was accompanied by Professor Emad El-Banna, Executive Director of the University Hospitals, and Ms. Hanaa Shaaban, Director of Nursing at the University Hospitals.

The Dean and his accompanying delegation began the tour with a visit to the Chest Diseases Department, where they closely reviewed the progress of the ongoing renovation works. During the visit, Professor Hany Desouky emphasized the importance of completing the renovation project according to the established timetable while adhering to the highest quality standards. He noted that these efforts aim to enhance the quality of healthcare services provided to patients and create a suitable working environment for medical and nursing staff.

The tour also included a visit to the Surgery Department, where the Dean closely monitored the ongoing development and renovation works. He reviewed the latest progress and ensured that work was proceeding efficiently across the various sections and units of the department.

The inspection reflects the Faculty and University Hospitals Administration’s commitment to continuously improving healthcare facilities and upgrading infrastructure in order to provide high-quality medical services and support an optimal environment for both patients and healthcare professionals.
